A LEMON ,BY PABLO NERUDA



Out of lemon flowers
loosed
in the moonlight,love`s
lashed ans issatiable
essences.
sodden with gragrance,
the lemon tre´s yellow
emerges
the lemons
moce down
from the tree`s planetarium

Delicate merchandise
tha harbors are big with it
bazaars
for the light and the
barbarous gold.
We open
the halves
of a miracle,
and a clottting of accid
brims
into the starry
division:
creation`s
original juices,
irreductible,changeless,
alive:
so the freshness lives
in a lemon
in the sweet smelling house of a rind,
the proportions,arcane and acerb
